The North Delta Soccer Club is a volunteer organization and we need parents to help with a number of tasks and functions to ensure a successful season. We encourage that all soccer families volunteer in some capacity and get involved. Volunteers are the foundation of this club and are needed to help operate our Club and allowing us to continue offering superior quality programs.
Our volunteer program requires each family that is registered for the Fall League (parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, older siblings) to volunteer a total of 2 hours.. All families must submit a post dated cheque in the amount of $50 to their Team Manager/Coach. When families have completed the required 2 hours of volunteer service, their volunteer cheque is shredded. If families do not fulfill the required 2 hours of volunteer service, their volunteer cheque is not refunded.
Your Coach or Team Manager will track volunteer hours completed within your team and any other hours completed at other Club events will be tracked by the Volunteer Coordinator. If you complete your volunteer hours during the spring league/academy, they will be accounted for in the following Fall season.
Not all families are able to volunteer. Families in this situation can opt out of volunteering by advising the Volunteer Coordinator that they would like their $50 cheque cashed. In this situation the $50 per family volunteer fee will be used to support the many activities offered by the Club to the players.
Please note that if you sign up to volunteer at one of our club events and do not show up to the event without 24 hour notice to the Volunteer Coordiantor, your cheque will be cashed.
