 Whitecaps FC Season Ticket promotion Vancouver Whitecaps FC in partnership with BC Soccer has launched the exclusive Youth Soccer Season Ticket which enables boys and girls registered with BC Soccer to purchase Whitecaps FC season tickets for the 2012 season at an accessible price. Mini Soccer Changes Exciting changes are coming in January to U6, 7, 8 and 9. Changes are designed to promote skill development. Please read this letter from John McGrandle, Club President, outlining the new program.
Latest Updates from the DYSA website U13 to U18 Div 1 and 2 Season Update There is a new season format for U13 to U18 Div 1 and 2, this season the league play ends before the Xmas break and the League Cup begins, there is no longer a Conference Cup. The teams will be tiered into groupings based on the number of teams in the age group, and based on the team success at the start of the Xmas break. The groupings are mostly groups of 6 teams, and the tournament will be a round robin format. Tentative dates are January 7, January 14, January 21, January 28, February 11th, February 25th, and March 4. Feb. 4 and 18 are scheduled for make-up games.
U12 Div 1 and 2 Season Update The U12 Div 1 and 2 will play in the Peter McElheron Cup after the Xmas break, Peter McElheron was a long standing volunteer with the DYSA before he passed away three years ago. There will be A and B groupings for the tournament with the A division to be more competitive, all teams will be asked which group they would prefer. Tentative dates are January 7, January 14, January 21, January 28, February 11th, February 25th, and March 4. Feb. 4 and 18 are scheduled for make-up games.

Kwantlen Eagles Open House The Kwantlen Polytechnic University Eagles Men’s Soccer Team held their inaugural Open House event at the KPU Surrey Campus on December 19th for prospective student-athletes. The event was an open invite for Grade 11 and 12 student-athletes and was well attended by 10 players from NDYSC U17 Gold and U18 Gold and Silver teams. The ND Stingers Over 40's Soccer Team is looking for players for the coming season. If you are interested please contact trevorrow@telus.net
Over 45 Soccer: Ladner Recreational Soccer League ND is putting together an Over 45 Team in the Ladner Recreational League and are looking for players. Games run from April to July, 6-7 pm Weeknight evenings, usually in Ladner. Great fitness, great fun! If anyone is interested please contact Mike at 604-588-7890 or mike@stxlogisticsinc.com.
